In October 2025, I traveled to Manhattan for work in the middle of busy wedding season. It was my first time seeing the city but unfortunately I was still processing the sudden loss of my father and feeling too emotionally overwhelmed to pick up a camera for fun. I was verging on the edge of burn out and nearly forogt why I love this art form so much.

Months later in 2026, I had the pleasure of revisiting the city, fresh faced and full of new motivation after rediscovering my love for this art during the first wedding on my spring season. During my trip, I carried around my contax g2 and my pentax645nii. I’m so happy with how these turned out and I can’t wait to come back to the city one day to capture a love story on film.
